Finally Epic have release a patch to make Unreal truly OpenGL compatible.

That's right, Epic originally released Unreal with a software renderer, Glide and PowerVR support only. Now they've liaised with some other vendors to get a REAL OpenGL version out. It was all very political and I won't go into it, suffice to say that on my Stealth II (Rendition Verite V2200) I can get better performance with this patch than using a Voodoo 1 card. ...or so they say!
