Lash speaks his mind again

We all know the feeling of lag and how it ruins a good game of Quake or Quake2 very easily. Basically all you can do is watch yourself get hammered by those lucky people who managed to get themselves a good connection whether it be LAN or ISDN or just a basic 56K connection. What we all would like is a lag free internet game with other people, is that so much to ask? I mean people are programming new games which evidently increase lag and don't even run on most people's computers. The Fable of Unreal in deathmatch has been and gone due to the fact its laggy enough when playing single player let alone a standard connection with internet lag on top.

So we ask ourselves, "When in the Hell are we gonna get a lag free multiplayer game for the average computer?". If we all had money we'd spend it, but the fact is we don't. So if we could all share the same connection it'd be a dream. If we all had the average college boy connection of 50 we'd all be in heaven. So you ask, "How am I going to get the most out of my connection?". The answer most people give is buy a new modem/computer or get ISDN.

Apparently (According to the Internet Underground widely know as hackers, etc) you can tap into the main stream of the phone lines instead of seperate lines and transmit your feedback through the government's and telecomunication's ground satelites. It's most likely purely fiction made from the idle brain of a small mis-guided child, but aren't we all like that?

So you know ask, "Why the F^&(*k am I reading this for?". The answer is that in hope that you have read this yoju can share any secrets or tweaking devices you may have and post it to clan or the site.

Sollutions so Far:

Lash - Gathered from the EvEm Site, I used MTUSpeed however it has next to no effect. Come to think of it, it hasbn't done nothing.
