Those of us who play RA2 will know of a practice known as "chucking." From what I've seen about the conduct of others on the wantree RA2 server, all you have to do is think about using the grenade launcher and your branded a chucker. Well, I have only this to say to those who whinge about chuckers:
Go f*** yourself.
Thats right. From what I get of the supposed definition, a chucker is the guy who stands up high on a ledge and lobs grenades into the fire fight below, indiscrimantly, knowing that his own team members will be safe. However it seems to be at the point where if you simply arm the grenade launcher or use it at all your a chucker.
I've seen people use the grenade launcher to pick off guys hiding round corners. Isn't that the whole point of the grenade laucher? He had a specific target in mind, and used the weapon with skill. And what happens? Instead of being congradulated on a nice rebound shot, the entire opposite team are calling him a chucker.
I can understand the frustration of a REAL chucker perhaps, but quite frankly if your too stupid to leave a room full of grenades you deserve everything you get. Everyone seems to think they have to run into a room and not leave until they kill everything in it. If some dickhead is overhead "chucking", get the hell out and take the battle to where you have the advantage, or better yet, go frag the son of a bitch.
It's all well and good to call people chuckers but only if they are actually chucking. Just using the grenade launcher is NOT cause to accuse people of lame tactics.
Personally, "chuckers" don't bother me at all, it's the people who whinge and bitch (because they were stupid enough to try and dance accross a mindfield) who I think are the truely lame ones.
