Just when you thought spammers could sink no lower! I've had several losers post spam to the evem site, mostly porn site links, some Viagra spam, all utter human wastes of space.

I get emails for most of the responses to this site so I can intercept most of them but if you see any response posts that are clearly spam make sure you point it out.

No, this is not about the plague of fake MS Update email but the real thing! I was browsing the thrilling and informative MS Security site and was amused to discover that they actually DO offer the email service. MS has always expressed their opinion that trojans and the like are so successful because no one applies patches often enough. I can see in the not too distant future that the emails and other patch notices coming from MS will numb users into mindlessly clicking every notice they see, making it even EASIER to fool people into installing unfriendly software in the guise of a MS update.

I mean do you think it will be that difficult duplicating the look of one of these 'official' email notices?

I'd be firing my development team if, after the millions of dollars spent, my unstoppable software could be disabled with the SHIFT key.
