A Little AA Comparison With BF1942

With nothing better to post tonight I thought I'd take a few screenies with Anti Aliasing turned on and compare them to normal. My card is a Leadtek Winfast GF4 4200 64meg. here's 4 pairs of screenies of similar objects the first with 4x AA and the second with no AA. See if you can pick the difference.
1. A medicine Cabinet - mmmm druuugs
2. Barbed Wire - Ouchies!
3. Sniper up close - BASTARDS!!
3. Tanks zoomed - Remember Kelly's Hero's? "Here's my other dog impression... woof! woof!"
Personally, I thought there was a huge difference. In the pics above you may detect the lack of jaggies in the AA pics in comparison to the non AA pics. When playing though, the difference is much more dramatic. everything looks so crystal clear, the whole game just feels better. An honestly there wasn't much of a detectable frame rate loss most of the time. I would actually consider playing with 2X AA on permanently now, to preserve some performance while improving the image quality.
The graphics in BF1942 are pretty good, but AA really makes them shine!
